Redlaw's Western Ribs
- 1 Bottle Redlaw’s Whiskey & Sweet Cherry BBQ Sauce
- 2 Racks St. Louis Ribs
- 4 Tbsp Kosher Salt
- 6 Bay Leaves
- 1 tsp Dry Thyme (whole)
- 1 Tbsp Peppercorns
- 6 Cloves Garlic
- 1 Onion
- 1/4 cup Liquid Smoke
Place all ingredients (except the BBQ sauce) into a deep baking dish and immerse in water. Cover dish tightly with foil and bake in the oven at 400 degrees for 3.5 hours. Remove from the oven, drain out the liquid and let ribs cool in the fridge overnight.
When ready to barbecue, place ribs on the grill and heat through. Half way through cooking, start basting the ribs with Redlaw’s Whiskey and Sweet Cherry BBQ Sauce, flipping periodically until you have nice caramelized Western Ribs!
Redlaw's Cowboy Sliders
- Slider Hamburger Bubs (12 pack)
- 2 lbs of 80/20 Ground Beef (any leaner and your burger will be dry)
- 6 ozs Muenster Cheese (sliced)
- 1 Bottle Redlaw’s Serrano Apricot BBQ Sauce
- 1 Small Onion
- 2 Jalapeno Peppers
- ½ cup Flour
- 2 cups Vegetable Oil
- 2 Tbs Butter
- Salt & fresh Cracked Pepper
Fry onions and jalapenos in oil. Coat with flour and fry in oil until light brown. Drain. (Do not dredge all of the onions and jalapenos at once! They will clump together.)
Grill patties and lightly buttered buns until done. (Remember if the patties are small, they cook fast!). Assemble burger with cheese, friend onions, and jalapenos. Add a dollop of BBQ Sauce!
